Welcome to the juniors section of our club. Here you will find all of the information on training times, programs and registration.
We are currently looking for new players for the 2023 season. For ages 5 to 12 we have details on the come and try sessions below, but we are also recruiting for older age groups. If you are a new player or a parent of a new player, please contact us via the form here.
When the fixture for 2023 are ready, they will be available here: Hockey Victoria fixtures.
Hookin2Hockey and Free Come & Try
In 2023, we are holding two Free Come & Try at the Altona Hockey Club on Monday 13th of February and Wednesday 15th of February both from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
Hookin2Hockey gives young boys and girls the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills and make friends in a team sport environment all while beginning their lifelong love of hockey!
- For Girls & Boys aged 5 to 12 years
- Introductory program
- Skill based games
- 7 Sessions in total (inc. the Free Come & Try)
- Fun and safe environment
- Official program of Hockey Australia
For the free come and try night anyone is welcome just to turn up on the night and try, or to register for the whole 6-week program it is available now via the Hookin2Hockey website here, for $70 including insurance, coaching and all costs for the program: www.revolutionise.com.au/altonahc/events/
You will need to choose either Monday or Wednesday session > Register > then click to ‘Sign-Up’.
You can do this at anytime either before or after the free Come & Try Session.
