Become an AHC Community Partner!

Altona Hockey Club (AHC) offers your Firm/Company the opportunity to become involved in our innovative community partnership initiative.

Who are we?

Altona Hockey Club is a non-profit organisation, which has a long and proud history in the local community after being founded in 1932. The Club, one of the largest in Victoria , has approximately 300 junior and senior members (both men and women) of all ages. We currently have 15 junior, 5 men's, 5 women's and 3 veterans teams, with players from across Melbourne. We also have strong links with the rural areas, often conducting training clinics for juniors in areas such as Echuca, Shepparton and Beechworth, and having several players from these areas.

Altona has always had a strong presence in the Victorian Hockey Association, catering for players of all standards. Altona has also proudly represented the Western suburbs in the Victorian Hockey's premier competition - the men's State League One for over 30 years. We have also produced many state, national and international representative players including most recently 2009 Hockeyroo Danielle Schubach.

How the partnership works/What's in it for you:

By becoming a Partner of the Altona Hockey Club, your firm will have an opportunity to enhance its position in the community.  You will also have the opportunity to benefit from one of our tailored promotional packages aimed at increasing your exposure to potential new customers.

Sponsorship can provide a lot of benefits for your business. Expose your brand to our members and their families , as well as members and supporters of visiting clubs from across Victoria via:-

• Signage at Altona Hockey Club, Sugargum Drive Altona
• Uniform advertising
• Logo on Men's and/or Women's First team playing uniforms
• Logo on training shirts worn by players at training each week
• Naming rights to ground, dugouts, goals etc.
• Direct Member Marketing - advertise directly to our membership through our regular publications, organised shopping nights and website via:
  • Advertising and a link to your site on the AHC website
  • Advertising in the AHC Newsletter (both traditional format and email newsletter)
  • Prominent signage within the AHC clubhouse
• Promotional events - opportunity to host members at your store to display/sell your product(s) or to entice members to shop at your store to increase your sales through discounts.

• Naming rights for the AHC ‘Hockey in Schools Development Program'
