2010 Coaching and Management Opportunities
We have attached a list of all our teams for the 2010 Winter Season. In order to easily identify the vacant official positions, and to give members a chance to step in and help out, we have decided to advertise to the club.
As you know, this club cannot run without the support of its volunteers.
Coaching and managing teams is absolutely imperative to the continued success of our club both on and off field.
So far we have had a number of people enquire about roles for next season.
We always require help and assistance in filling some positions, so here is your chance! There are discounted fees available in select positions, and all grades, particularly the junior teams, are open to job sharing arrangements. We appreciate the personal sacrifice people make in committing to coaching and team management, and so we will endeavor to assist wherever possible with help from our senior teams and players providing specialist coaching, and providing "How to..." manuals for all our team managers.

Men's Pre-Season
The first official session for Mens pre-season was on Saturday the 12th December at 8:30am. All prospective players are welcome to attend the sessions regardless of ability or grade played in 2009.
For those wishing to play in State League 1, Pennant A or C it is compulsory that you attend these sessions.
If you are unable to attend the sessions for any reason please let Darren Duff know in advance. Additionally, if you know anyone that is considering coming to play at Altona this is the perfect session to bring them down and meet the coach and players.

The club gives it's support to our club-members playing in the Australian Men's Veteran's Champs which is co-hosted by AHC. Our players are Peter Byrne, Peter Symons and Gary O'Dea.
