ANZAC Day at AHC
ANZAC Day holds a special place in Australia’s history and we are proud to be holding Premier League games at home on Saturday. The Altona RSL is a great supporter of the Altona Hockey Club especially in their capacity as Junior Development partner. Following is a run down of activities on ANZAC Day.
ALTONA RSL DAWN SERVICE
Assemble at 5.20am (Altona RSL carpark)
March Off 5.40am
Service at the Cenotaph (Eternal Flame) Civic Pde / Pier St at 6am
12.30pm – Men’s Premier League Reserves
2pm – Men’s Premier League
3.30pm – Women’s Premier League
5pm – Women’s Premier League Reserves
Immediately prior to the Men’s Premier League game at 2pm we will acknowledge ANZAC Day with a recital of The Ode of Remembrance and The Last Post.
ANZAC Day badges and other items will available to purchase on the day with all proceeds going to support past and present Service people and their families.
RSL Memberships application forms will also be available. Completed forms can be returned to Tianie Grunwald.
